About this course
If you need both a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and a qualification that covers adults in the workplace, then this combined training supplement is a cost effective and convenient option.
Ideal for schools or anyone working with babies, children and adults, but does not require the full 18-hour Level 3 First Aid at Work. Combined training covers both the HSE needs assessment for the adult staff and the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
How does combined training work?
When you book onto a Practical Level 3 Training Day, either our Level 3 one day 6 hour (EPFA) Emergency Paediatric first aid, which is the minimum mandatory requirement for Ofsted, or our Level 3 fully Ofsted compliant blended 12 hour (PFA) Paediatric First aid, you can also qualify with a Level 3 (EFAW) Emergency First Aid at work certification.
You will be taught the additional content for adults and workplace health and safety regulations. At the end of your practical classroom day, you will then complete both the Level 3 EFAW and the PFA or EPFA exams. Thus, saving you a full day, and the full cost of an EFAW. You will receive two separate Certifications valid for 3 years.
All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent changes.
