Our public training is much more than first aid

As the preferred training provider to many 3rd sector organisations, we endeavour to support their cause, often sharing insights and services otherwise unknown, with people like yourself.

We felt this service was so relevant it merits its own space on our website. Magpas Air Ambulance brings the very best pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land, including treatments usually only available in a hospital.

We keep their non medical team up to date with First Aid and Mental Health First Aid skills, you may have met them on one of our public courses? They now offer free community CPR training, funded by their corporate training offer called “Donate a day”. Corporate groups attend a one day course and the fee goes towards free training for schools, voluntary, community and sports groups.

When a person goes into cardiac arrest, bystander CPR can double a person’s chances of survival and, if they are given defibrillation within 3-5 minutes, survival rates can increase to 50-70%. Often their survival depends on those around them.
