The First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (FAW) is ideal for businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent changes including the 1st October 2017 changes.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements (2015 are the latest guidelines). Our Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications. We deliver on site, even at short notice.

This course is ideal for organisations who wish to train their employees to ‘support’ existing mental health first aiders (MHFA), as well as empowering individuals to increase their own wellbeing and reduce stigma. This course focuses on mental health in the workplace and associated strategy and legislation. To gain the full skill set of an MHFAider you must attend the two day course. Adult MHFA courses are for every one aged 16 upwards.
This one day mental health awareness and skills course qualifies you as an Adult MHFA Champion.

Security Dog First Aid.
For dog handlers who work with specially trained dogs. Approved by NASDU (National Association for Security Dog Users) 4 hours CPD time credit conformation. This training course is very different to our domestic canine first aid course.

This course is approved by NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users) for the requirement of pet first aid which meets their standards. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work. This Security Dog First Aid course is essential, not only does it comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. Course fees include (upon successful completion) a detailed first aid manual, official certified wall certificate and handy wallet card. Online courses are all video based, not slide based, so it’s more like having your very own personal tutor on a flexible timetable.
We have designed this course to meet the NASDU learning outcomes and added a few extra modules to ensure full understanding.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and comes with a certified CPD statement as well as a certificate.

Please be aware that Anaphylaxis and Allergy awareness training, including safe use of Auto injectors, is INCLUDED in many of our classroom practical courses. If you are taking a level 3 Paediatric 6 hour course or a Paediatric 12 hour course, a sports first aid course, a bridge basic life support course or a 3 day FAW course, FAW requalification or refresher, anaphylaxis will be covered as part of the syllabus. Learners also get to practice with trainer auto injection units Epi-Pens, Emerade and Jext.

There has been a lot of news in many different sports worldwide on how head injuries are not taken seriously in sports. This course not only talks about a head injury but also where it can lead to and the lengthy recovery time required.
This course covers the effects of a head injury and looks at the damage that can occur to the brain.

The First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) Requalification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace and they need to requalify their certification. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.
This is a 100% classroom course over two days but we also offer blended training where you complete one day online, saving a day in the classroom.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements. ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
This course must be at least 12 contact hours and run over a minimum of 2 days and the certificate is valid for 3 years.

The half day MHFA England course is an introductory four hour session to raise awareness of mental health.
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. We limit numbers per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
This training can be taken as a stand-alone course and is highly credible as that. If you are an employer this course is supplementary to the full two day Mental Health First Aiders training within your organisation.
