About this course

Ideal as a standalone training course or an annual refresher, our Equestrian EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work - which is a nationally recognised qualification) is aimed at anyone involved with horses. This Equine EFAW has an emphasis on injuries more likely to occur when working with hoses and important considerations when dealing with accidents outdoors or in a more rural environment.

This course is also recommended as an annual refresher for all equestrian professionals. trainers, BHS approved instructors, vets, equine osteopaths’, physiotherapists and chiropractors, farriers, grooms, and responsible horse owners.

If you are working with the public or a setting with more than 5 employees we advise that at least one member of staff completes the 18 hour FAW course due to the higher hazard risk. For additional guidance on your settings risk assessment please get in touch.
An optional "basic Canine CPR module" is also included at the end of the training.
