This Adult Two Day MHFA England course is the only recognised training programme that qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.

Mental health first aid saves lives. Mental Health First Aiders have an in depth understanding of the factors that can affect well-being. Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues. Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress. Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening. Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support. This course also informs employers about discrimination litigation and how to safely and appropriately support their workforce.
Course fees include:
• An evidence based manual for each learner, workbooks and all training materials, Lanyards and action cards. Certificates and on-going support and advice with integrating MHFA into your organisation. Concessions for groups or voluntary sector workers.

EPFA 6 hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid
1 day Certified EPFA course meets Ofsted and EYFS minimal requirements. Suitable child carers who do not require the full 12 hour paediatric first aid course, babysitters, childcare support staff, and au pairs.
Time: 9.30 am Sunday 1st December 2019
Duration: 6 hours (Certification is valid for 3 years) Free parking and refreshments

This course is mandatory for those working with infants and children. As stated by the Statutory Framework for the EYFS "All newly qualified entrants to the early years workforce who have completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after 30 June 2016, must also have either a full PFA or an emergency PFA certificate within three months of starting work in order to be included in the required staff: child ratios at level 2 or level 3 in an early years setting"
