Especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.

There is no longer an official “appointed person’s first aid course”. This was replaced by the one-day statutory EFAW. Introduced in 2009 for those business that don’t require a full 3-day First Aid at Work qualification but do require practical first aid knowledge.

This course is also recognised by the FA for those who require the FA Emergency Aid course.
All our courses include safe defibrillator (AED) and haemorrhage control skills. In the event of a serious incident the confidence and skills gained on this course are invaluable. Ideal for a refresher, a re-qualification, or for individuals who have never attended a first aid course.
